KRISTEN MILLER ROSENFIELD, 46 years old, passed peacefully into Heaven on Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at her home in Golden Valley, MN, after a long battle with breast cancer. She died at her home, in the arms of her husband Tim Rosenfield and daughter Hayley, surrounded by her family and friends. Kristen was a loving and much loved friend who will be missed by those who knew her. Her courage, determination and humor graced her life, especially her last years. Throughout her life she was a role model as an artist, friend, wife, and then especially as a mother.
A memorial service celebrating her life was held in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit at Breck School, 123 Ottawa Avenue North, Golden Valley, MN on Saturday, October 25th.
Kristen was born on September 22, 1957 in Endicott, NY, the daughter of Betty and Bob Miller. She grew up in Edina, MN, graduated from Edina West High School in 1975, and earned a B.A. degree in 1980 from the University of Minnesota in Design.
She made her career as an illustrator, working in the advertising and marketing industries in the Twin Cities. She was married to Tim Rosenfield in 1991, and gave birth to their daughter Hayley in 1994. She was a beloved member of the Breck School community. Through the years she led projects with teenagers working with Habitat for Humanity, and was active in the Minnesota Design Association.

Miller and step-mother Peggy Gordon Miller of Brookings, South Dakota, her brothers Rohn Jay Miller of Minneapolis and Robert K.
